WHERE IT BEGAN
A name born from steel and the 'O'
SCL Steelo began with a simple idea: everyday storage should be safe, smart, and good-looking enough to leave on the counter. What started in 2007 with steel-capped PET containers — the steel and the 'O' that gave us our name — has grown into one of India’s most trusted ranges of food containers, water bottles, and home organisers, found in homes, supermarkets, and online stores across the country.
Today, an SCL Steelo product sits in lakhs of Indian kitchens. Behind it is more than three decades of hands-on expertise: our founder has worked in the PET industry since 1989, and that depth shows up in the details — the seal that actually stays airtight, the lid that clicks shut every time, and the finish that still looks new after years of daily use.
